Stereophonics is a popular Welsh rock/pop trio. In 1996, Stereophonics was the first band in the music industry that signed to Richard Branson's music label, V2 Records. Their music has a twist of 60s-inspired pop melodicism, with 90s technology. Stereophonics was first spotted by V2's A&R head Ronnie Gurr.
