‘Dakota’- Stereophonics

Does anyone else remember the 2005 Stereophonics song ‘Dakota’? I recall Popjustice’s shock at the time when it realised it was the best thing released that special week in the UK, and as far as I’m concerned, it’s their best moment ever.

My night took a actually weird turn earlier this evening and I ended up in some exclusive bar with Stereophonics, Snow Patrol, and Jamie T (who is an absolute delight, by the way) after the Q Awards. Meeting the Welsh rockers reminded me of how much I loved ‘Dakota’ when it came out, and I hope you dig it too.

Vintage rockers Stereophonics and Kelly Jones looks hot in it. Fact

We love a bit of good old fashioned rock and roll so we're well on board with The latest offering to Stereophonics is Innocent.
No, not those tiny little bottles of delish smoothies (although we do love those too!) this is the new single out November 9th.

The Stezzas (as no one calls them) have had more hits than you can shake a Welsh stick at. And we reckon this might be another biggie.

"Innocent"-Stereophonics

Stereophonics' new video for "Innocent," from the upcoming Keep Calm & Carry On is so British Morrissey jealous to make its band Ben Sherman wearing. The old film into the band have edited themselves stock containing tons of Union Jacks and a row of Yorkshire style row houses looks straight out of 1961, or even earlier. (Why does this video remind me of Monty Python's Meaning Of Life?)The title of Keep Calm & Carry On is a reference to a British poster produced during World War II to increase public morale. The album is out in UK at 16 Nov.

THE best way to look a band is on their home turf.
Seeing the STEREOPHONICS in their own manor in spectacular surroundings was even better.
And the band were on top form. New single Guiltness is a belter and the old hits in the set list got the 7,000-strong crowd singing along.
I shared a lift to the gig with KELLY JONES and he gave me a tour of his old stomping ground, including a pub where STEVE McFADDEN and ROSS KEMP former EastEnders Phil and Grant Mitchell saw the band before they had a record deal.
Where he bought me his showed his first guitar and joked about the High And Mighty clothes store where he got his threads as a kid.
Kelly said: "A local cafe we went on Friday and the bloke offered us his homemade lager. At another cafe the woman asked if we were famous. I said we were Artexers. She said, 'I thought you weren't'. It's good to be home."
The post gig tear up ended in the small hours.
Innocent is out on November 9, album Keep Calm And Carry On a week later.
